Catalyst

Klein Tools, one of the leading manufacturers of electrician’s tools, looked to Catalyst to provide a fresh perspective to a line of wire strippers and fish tapes. 

Working closely with Klein and one of its major manufacturer’s Catalyst researched Klein’s current product line and studied competing products.  The scope of the project focused on improving the ergonomic feel of the wire stripper handles and fish tape grip areas.  Additionally, the edge lines of the products were softened while the texture areas were made more aggressive to improve handling during use.
