Client Spotlight: Gamblit Gaming

Like many industries being challenged by new technologies and trends, the Gambling and Gaming segment is being disrupted. Gamblit Gaming is taking advantage of this opportunity by developing new and creative gaming systems designed to appeal to the next generation gamers. Gamblit Gaming has worked with Catalyst since 2003 to develop products that keep them ahead of the game.
It was important for Gamblit Gaming to partner with a design company that had a wide variety of resources and Catalyst fit the bill. Catalyst’s experience in product ergonomics, industrial design, and overall product development – including mechanical and design for manufacturing – ensured that Gamblit Gaming products would have a functional design and be easy to produce.
In one project, Catalyst developed a new product that reinvented how games are played by the end user. The Tristation is a single cabinet multi-player slot machine that was completely new and helped launch Gamblit Gaming into the gaming industry.
Reduced Production Times
In a changing industry, speed to market is critical. With the Tristation, Catalyst was able to take a normal 12-18 month process down to 4-6 months to complete the product in record time.
“Catalyst is very good at taking product concepts from outside sources that have been provided as a guideline of the objective, and being able to adapt those ideas into a producible product while still maintaining the original concept intent. This has proven invaluable on many different projects.” said Wayne Loynes, Director of Hardware Product Development at Gamblit Gaming. “They don’t just create concept sketches and let someone else figure out how to build it.”
