We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, professional Marketing god who understands the branding, promotion, and marketing of creative services. The right candidate will know that marketing project-based professional services is about showing credibility and a passion for making clients successful through the benefit of our services, and not just the services themselves.
This is an entry-level position with management potential for the right individual. Position reports directly to the General Manager. Catalyst will consider candidates with 3-5 years of relevant experience. We will also consider recent graduates in Business Marketing that can show appropriate prior internships and/or work-study experience.
Attractive benefit package with health insurance, 401K, performance bonuses, paid holidays/vacation. Salary range $40,000 - $60,000 based on your ability to impress us.
What We Need You To Do
Develop strategies and tactics to get the word out about our company and drive qualified lead traffic.
Produce valuable and engaging content for our website and blog that attracts and converts our target groups. (Note: If you have trouble writing a simple sentence, please do not apply. Creative writing skill is a requirement and sample drafts will be required. There may be a test at the end…)
Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution.
Experiment with a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels – content creation, content curation, pay per click campaigns, event management, publicity, social media, lead generation campaigns, copywriting, performance analysis, and much more.
Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies and vendors.
Assist in determination/allocation of marketing budget.
Measure and report performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals
BS degree in marketing or experience in a related field.
Demonstrable experience/knowledge of marketing strategies with the potential, attitude, dedication, and passion to learn about and promote Catalyst.
Knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, etc.) and in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns. Understanding of SEO a definite plus.
Knowledge or experience in social media marketing planning and implementation.
Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets.
Good taste, a sense of aesthetics, a love for great copy and witty, interesting communication. We are a creative company, so we don’t do boring.
