Inventory Specialist Opportunity

Due to increasing business growth we have an immediate need for an experienced Inventory Specialist to support our injection molding and production areas.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identifies and moves proper materials to be placed into production area for filling, labeling and packaging of products, logging items into inventory system.
  • Packing and generating proper paperwork.
  • Stages material for the molding department.
  • Lifts, carries and counts cases to fill orders.
  • Organizes and palletizes cases efficiently and moves materials with pallet jacks or forklift.
  • Operates pallet wrapper, pallet jacks and forklift in a proper, thorough, safe and efficient.
  • Loads and unloads truck shipments in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Maintains raw goods, tool storage, finished goods, staging and returns work areas in a clean, uncluttered and safe manner.
  • Order necessary materials as requested by departments.
  • Maintain inventory of all materials and finished goods.
  • Aid in quality control.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Confidence to make day to day decisions without consulting supervisor.
  • Operate a forklift.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Highly organized and ability to multitask.

Injection Molding Processor / Operator Opportunity

Catalyst PDG, Inc. is interested in hiring energetic, motivated, goal-oriented people who are interested in working in a comfortable, fast-paced environment. Due to increasing business growth we have an immediate need for an experienced Injection Molding Processor/Operator to support our injection molding and production areas.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Continuous uptime of all injection molding machines.
  • Set-up, processing and operation of injection molding machine(s) while documenting all necessary information on appropriate forms, following established procedures and instructions.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot any issues with injection molding machine(s) and associated equipment, including chiller/compressors, thermolators, and dryers.
  • Perform mold changes, mold set-up(s) along with minor mold repair as needed.
  • Document process changes for the highest quality and productivity while adhering to safety and company policies.
  • Ensure all molded parts that are produced to the correct specifications and are free of defects based on established quality specifications and documentation.
  • Troubleshoot any issues, determine root cause, and assist in implementing solutions pertaining to aspects of the injection molding process.
  • Perform Preventative Maintenance tasks and documentation as scheduled.
  • Good time management skills and the ability to execute department scheduling plan a must.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with company procedures and policies.
  • Demonstrate leadership, good work & attendance habits with a willingness to work additional hours (overtime) as capacity requires.
  • Work collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
  • Effectively communicate clearly with other members of the injection molding department and management along with customers and vendors occasionally when on-site.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of relevant industry experience in plastic injection molding processing required.
  • Knowledgeable understanding of injection molding equipment required.
  • Experience with JSW molding machines a plus.
  • Knowledge and ability to understand QMS processes and documentation.

  • Strong work ethic and organizational skills.

You

  • Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets.

Quality Assurance Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, professional Quality Assurance Manager that is capable of supporting the on-going development, implementation and management of both internal and client driven QA/QC programs that are based on the ISO Standard. This position requires excellent organizational skills and interaction with operations, project management, and all levels of management. The right candidate will be responsible for gathering client requirements and working with internal company resources to ensure all quality standards are met based on our client’s expectations.

Ideal candidates should be familiar with a variety of quality standards and processes, including ISO standards, IQ/OQ/PQ Validation, and PPAP executions. 

What We Need You To Do 

  • Develop, manage and maintain company quality programs.
  • Serve as administrator/management representative of companies Quality System.
  • Ensure that ISO compliant documents are created and maintained.
  • Coordinate and conduct quality audits, document results, implement corrective action.
  • Ensure controls are in place such that all manufactured products conform to company and client defined quality standards.
  • Ensure the production area has appropriate equipment/technology to perform needed measurements and inspections.
  • Ensure documentation and maintenance of Corrective/Preventative Action Plans, Customer Complaints, and Vendor Complaints including the coordination of follow up to ensure timely resolution of complaints.
  • Manage and perform client requested First Article Inspections.
  • Responsible for maintaining and updating the Quality Manual and communicating updates within the organization.
  • Responsible to developing and executing client specific QA plans that may include PPAP and IQ/OQ/PQ Validation.

You

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Quality Engineering, Quality Management, with CQE preferred.
  • 7 years of manufacturing experience, with a focus in injection molded components preferred.
  • 5 years’ experience as a Quality Manager, Quality Supervisor, or Quality Engineer.
  • 5 years’ experience working with ISO standards, documentation, and quality manuals, with experience implementing quality programs in manufacturing operations.
  • Prior experience preparing for and achieving ISO certification preferred.
  • 3-5 years’ experience with IQ/OQ/PQ Validation related to medical products and devices.
  • 3-5 year’s experience with PPAP development and execution.
  • Prior experience preparing for and achieving ISO certification preferred.
  • Strong process and quality improvement experience with knowledge of various Continuous Improvement approaches.
  • Strong knowledge of Quality Audits, with experience developing and implementing quality audit programs.
  • Strong knowledge of implementing preventative and corrective actions.

  • Assists operations with the preparation, coordination and planning of daily shipments for completed projects.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
  • Attend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency.

  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or a minimum of 5 years of experience in a customer service & project management capacity.
