I wanted to let you know that PHLster launched the Enigma Micro last night, and orders are already going strong.

Sterno Products worked with Catalyst to develop initial concepting to production for one of our products. We chose Catalyst because it is both flexible and comprehensive, with industrial design, design engineering, CAD development, manufacturing feasibility, and plastic molding experts. Compared to other firms, Catalyst understood our end goals and worked with us to generate the best result.

Insects Limited designs and makes insect traps with the help of Catalyst’s engineering and manufacturing capabilities. Throughout the design process, we requested many changes and Catalyst was always very open and good about responding. 

Once we saw how solid of a company they were, there was not much competition.  From concept to reality, Catalyst was with us every step of the way, which is what we needed in a partner.

Catalyst took the time to listen to our story, figure out what we wanted and used their engineering skillset to match with our clinical skillset.  It’s produced a product that I think is going to not only be a viable business product, but I think it’s going to really help people take care of themselves. 

They led us down a path where when we first handled the prototype, our reaction was ‘Oh, that is exactly what we meant.’  Without a doubt, sending people to Catalyst is something that I’ll do on a regular basis.

The Easy See is a protective window that allows beekeepers to focus on fine details while working in their hives. I was amazed at how quickly Catalyst built our mold and got it running. We took some production parts from the first run to try to find something wrong with them and we couldn’t. The fact that they guarantee their aluminum molds and take care of them right in-house was something I couldn’t pass up.

We were extremely happy with how well they listened to our ideas and even helped us source some components. Also, the cost has been a lot lower than what I thought we would pay to get a finished product. Catalyst has really helped us out and it’s been a lot of fun working with them.

Catalyst made everything seemless, it was almost too easy. We had our first meeting with them and the owner was there, the industrial designer and head of production, which I think is unusual. We showed them our design and they made it better. Catalyst showed us how to cut costs and refine the design for tooling. It made a huge difference to us that everything is done in-house instead of shipping the mold somewhere else.

With Catalyst you can have a quality U.S. made product with a quicker turnaround time and be price competitive. We’re really proud about that and the flags are all over our packaging.”

Relja Innovations is a medical device manufacturer seeking to create minimally invasive product solutions for common foot and ankle ailments. Relja sought to outsource the supply chain to various cutting-edge companies, with a goal of speed, quality, and cost in mind. 

Catalyst was crucial in creating five molds and then assisting in the fine-tuning process for several parts until they met surgeon customer needs. Catalyst was able to make the molds and revisions quickly and efficiently.  They also changed priority to assist us in our regulatory submission. The combination of design, engineering support, and manufacturing is very valuable in a partner. We will use Catalyst again.

Catalyst was very responsive, they were very interested in what we were doing and came highly recommended by others as well.  We really placed a lot of faith in Catalyst that they could get us where we needed to go.  They’ve done nothing but prove themselves and provided us with a different viewpoint to think more critically about our design.  We certainly wouldn’t be where we are today without Catalyst’s help.

The Sterno S’mores Maker is a fun way for a family to make the gooey treat indoors or outdoors. I have a long history with Catalyst and respect the work that they do. Catalyst was able to receive the tray tool, expedite the resin and colorant to start the S’mores tray on time, then beat quantity and timing expectations. This helped us ship a large quantity of S’mores Makers displays to Kroger ahead of the summer season. I knew I could rely on them when we needed to get parts quickly.

Catalyst has delivered high-quality service and products every time I have used them, which is why I will continue to go back to them. Catalyst has a can-do attitude, and that makes things happen.  It’s a winning approach.

Meet Matt Shade, inventor and President of The Push-Up Machine.  Matt came to Catalyst with an idea and a sketch on a napkin.  Now, he sells his successful invention online and even owns a patent based on his idea.

I’ve been working on this product for the past three years, although I’ve only been working with Catalyst for about eight months. Catalyst was able to make my product at the price point that I needed to be at, out of the materials I need it to be made out of, and at the volumes I’m looking at as a startup. They’ve been able to deliver all of this on time, including custom texturing and logo … a lot of extra touches that really went above and beyond. We just approved our first production batch and as you can imagine, it’s thrilling. Surprisingly, the product looks even better than the 3D renders. I’ve been extremely pleased working with them.

I care about good design, and I care about our products. At Catalyst, I get good design and I’m confident that they can also make it work.
